"I live my ethos– a paradigm of thought, action, and life."

I believe that character defines you and nearly every aspect about you to everyone you deal with throughout a lifetime.

It is the meal you prepare, cook, and serve for consumption by everyone you professionally and socially engage while building and growing your business from vision onward.

Ethos means “character" and is a fundamental measure of one's credibility. Most importantly, when explaining something to someone as a listener or audience to persuade an understanding or belief.

The origins of Ethos derive from Aristotle, whom he explains it as one of the three modes of persuasion that function as the basis of one's rhetoric.

No one is perfect nor without their failures, faults, or losses. My rhetoric is to build your vision relentlessly and stop at nothing until that value is accomplished, regardless of the storms you weather to arrive there.

Aristotle identified three types of ethos: arête, phronesis, and eunoia

Arête is Greek for "virtue" and represents being the best version of yourself that you can be from the standpoint of ethics.

Aristotle states that the ultimate goal in life for a human is happiness, and to be fully happy in life, one would have to be virtuous.

He describes the necessary steps to achieve this happiness in Nicomachean Ethics where

He says that moral virtue is formed through action and habituation, that good action requires prudence, and that happiness can be achieved if one lives by a sort of "reason" and "good order."

Philosopher L. Ron Hubbard further defines the way to happiness in his materials as being achieved through not only, as Aristotle states, living in accord with reason and good order, but never living in a state of hiding one's transgressions in breach of that reason, or good order.

In other words, "clean hands make a happy life."

The next type of ethos Aristotle describes is Phronesis, Greek for wisdom or intelligence. He uses this term to focus on how well knowledge and skills are implemented in one's everyday life, not necessarily just an indication of IQ. For example, someone with a numerically low IQ can still be made wise by experience, but gaining phronesis requires experience and as such there is no other way to obtain it.

Eunoia is the third type of ethos and is Greek for “goodwill". In rhetoric it is the relationship cultivated with an audience to gain their trust. As a speaker, one has to develop that trust to appear credible as without it you simply cannot persuade an audience.

All three values–arête, phronesis, and eunoia–collectively define Ethos.

These factors of Ethos are believed to begin after childbirth through good parenting and teaching good behavior, and established throughout life as we learn through others & our own life experiences.

"By creating good habits and sticking with them until they become automatic, we also help develop ethos in one another, leading to a happier and more productive society."

I believe all this comes into play with every entrepreneur, founder, or leader in the what and how they will lead, create and build on vision.

Simon Sinek teaches in "Start with Why" lessons that inspiration is the key to influencing others, trust is power, and good communication begins with listening.

I believe the why, what, and how of every leader or entrepreneur must result in their happiness and in engaging every individual they need to succeed in building their dreams.

You can't take anything with you or into your next life beyond the satisfaction and happiness you've created for yourself and others in what you've accomplished.

My Ethos is guided through life in being the best version of myself that I can be.

While relentlessly fueling my passion for that achievement and letting that serve in defining who I am in this life.
